Maison Tajan takes up residence at BHV MARAIS to appraise the unique pieces of the department store’s customers, for an extraordinary auction. For over thirty years, Tajan represented the essential destination for collectors and art lovers. With more than sixty auctions a year, numerous record sales and regional and international expansion, Tajan is now one of Europe’s leading auction houses. From entire collections to thematic sales, our generalist positioning enables us to cover more than twenty art market specialties.
BHV MARAIS calls on the House’s expertise to offer its Parisian customers a unique experience: the opportunity to have their personal items appraised by auctioneers and experts on April 4 and 6, April 23, 24 and 27, and April 5 at BHV PARLY 2. The expertise proposed will be general, but particular attention will be dedicated to the following themes: Jewelry & Watches, Leather Goods, Luxury Bags & Accessories, “Arts de la table”, Paintings & Prints.
Subsequently, on Thursday May 16, at the end of these appraisals, a large auction will be held, with 30 to 40 lots available, corresponding to the most outstanding items deposited. Maison Tajan will produce a fully digitalized catalog to unveil these lots, and will offer interested buyers the opportunity to discover them directly in our showroom in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, prior to the auction. The event will take place on the 6th floor of the BHV MARAIS, in the presence of approximately a hundred guests.
